Man dies after mobility scooter and car collide

A mobility scooter rider has died in hospital after being seriously injured in a collision with a car.

South Yorkshire Police said emergency services were called to North Bridge Road in Doncaster at about 13:50 GMT on 13 March following reports of a crash, which also involved a white Toyota Estima.

The force said an 85-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later died.

Officrs investigating the crash have asked anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
