Police search continues for man seen falling into river

Searches are continuing for a man who was seen falling into the River Wye.

Reports were made to emergency services at around 18.00 BST on Monday of a man falling into a stretch of the river in Monmouthshire.

Gloucestershire Police have been leading the search, centring their efforts between the M48 and A48, south of Chepstow.

A spokesperson for the force said on Wednesday: "The man has not yet been located and searches are due to continue today."
