Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run crash
GoogleA pedestrian is being treated in hospital, after sustaining potentially life-changing injuries in a hit-and-run collision.
The man, who is in his 30s, was struck by a car on Cannock Road in Chadsmoor, Cannock, at about 19:30 GMT on Friday.
The car, which had been travelling in the direction of Starbucks in Hednesford before the collision, was described as possibly being a small, black, hatchback-type vehicle, Staffordshire Police said.
"We are urging the driver of the vehicle who failed to stop at the scene to get in touch with us," the force said.
Police added they were also appealing for anyone who saw what happened or may have relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to contact the force.
