About 2,000 motorcyclists, many dressed in Christmas-themed outfits, descended on a science park for an annual toy run.

The 39th Reading Toy Run was hosted by the Reading Christian Motorcyclists and started from Thames Valley Science Park on Sunday morning.

Toys collected after the ride, which finished at High Close School in Wokingham, will be donated to children's charity Barnardo's.

Thousands of spectators braved the rain to see the spectacle and to cheer and wave.
