A dual carriageway has been partially reopened after a crash involving three lorries resulted in a stretch of the road being closed.

The crash happened on the A34 northbound between the M4 and Junction 13 for Chieveley in Berkshire and the A4185 near Chilton, Oxfordshire, at about 02:10 GMT.

National Highways said one of the HGVs had jack-knifed and ended up down an embankment. It said no injuries had been reported.

The outside lane on both carriageways remains closed as the crash has also damaged a 200m (656ft) stretch of the central reservation barrier.
