A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a woman in Dornoch.

Police Scotland said officers were called to Morrison Court at about 16:40 on Saturday.

The force said it was investigating the death of a 46-year-old woman.

The man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday.
