The experience "completely immerses" families in the magic of Christmas, organisers say

Tickets for a popular immersive Christmas event in Cheshire are set to go on sale.

LaplandUK, which is held in Capesthorne Hall, near Macclesfield and Ascot, hopes to brings the story of Father Christmas to life through an interactive four and a half hour journey, according to organisers.

When tickets launched in March 2025, more than 750,000 people joined the virtual queue to attend the experience in Greater Manchester, and at the company's second site in Ascot.

Bookings for 2026 are set to open on Friday morning for what organisers have described as the event's "most magical year yet".

LaplandUK ticket release

General bookings for LaplandUK, for both the Manchester and Ascot sites, are set to open at 10:00 GMT.

Those on the LaplandUK waiting list will receive an email between 09:15 and 9:30 GMT on Friday morning directing them to a virtual waiting room.

The waiting rooms can also be accessed from 09:00 GMT via the 'tickets' page on the LaplandUK website, according to organisers.

Tickets for the event range from £60 to £155, depending on the day.

There are premium prices for weekends and those closer to Christmas Eve.

The experience runs daily from Saturday November 7 to Thursday December 24.

Guests can also book the experience on the dedicated "Superstar Day" which is aimed at visitors with access requirements.

Virtual ticket queueing

LaplandUK organisers said places in the ticket queue will be allocated randomly to everyone in the virtual waiting rooms.

The queue will then "begin to move" at 10:00 GMT, organisers said.

Customers will have 10 minutes to complete their booking once its their turn in the queue.

"We truly cannot wait to make treasured memories together this Christmas in Lapland," they added.
