M25 shut after cables brought down in lorry crash

Traffic EnglandThe M25 has been shut after power cables were brought down during a crash between two lorries.
The road is shut in both directions between junction 28 for Brentwood and junction 27 for the M11 in Essex.
Fire crews, police and UK Power Networks are at the scene.
The power company said an electricity pole and overhead cables were brought down, and 14 properties were without power.
A spokesperson said the road had been cleared of cables and repairs were taking place.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes as the road may be closed for some time, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said.
A diversion is in place to central London via the A13 westbound.
