Cash machine ripped out of Asda supermarket
BBCA cash machine has been ripped out from a supermarket wall in an early morning raid by thieves.
Police officers were called to the Asda on Springfield Road in Leek, Staffordshire, at 01.20 GMT on Thursday.
The thieves removed the machine using a piece of plant machinery, before leaving in two Nissan pickup trucks.
All of the vehicles involved were reported as stolen earlier in the week, a police spokesperson added.
The Nissans were subsequently found burnt out on Tongue Lane, Brown Edge, at about 02.15.

Officers were continuing to investigate and urged anyone who saw what happened or those with any video footage to contact them.
Asda has been contacted for a response.

The theft follows a similar incident earlier this month in Kidsgrove.
In that attack, on 9 January, the Co-op store on Cedar Avenue was left badly damaged - the thefts have not been linked by police.
