A man has appeared in court charged with supplying heroin and crack cocaine as part of an investigation into country lines drug dealing.

Iyaz Iqbal, 36, of Whin Knoll Avenue in Keighley, was arrested after his address was targeted by police in connection with an "identified drug dealing phone line", police said.

He appeared at Bradford Magistrates' Court earlier charged with six drugs offences and was remanded into custody to appear at the city's crown court on 11 March.

West Yorkshire Police said the arrest was part of Operation Phoenix, a scheme to target county lines drug dealing.
