Building site worker dies in 'industrial accident'
Qays Najm/BBCA worker has died on a building site on the outskirts of Norwich, police said.
Officers were called to reports of an "industrial accident" on the Furlong Heath development, off Salhouse Road, in Sprowston, by the ambulance service at 11:10 GMT on Tuesday.
Police said the man was declared dead at the scene and it was investigating his death, together with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
A spokesperson for the site developer, Tilia Homes, said: "A serious incident occurred... resulting in the tragic death of one of our agency general operatives."

"Our immediate focus is on the wellbeing of everyone affected by this incident.
"The safety and welfare of those who work with us is our highest priority, and we will be providing support to our employees, sub-contractors and partners at the development."
They added the site had been closed while the investigation was being carried out, and also thanked emergency workers for their "swift response and professionalism".
An air ambulance was sent to the scene along with three NHS East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) road vehicles.
An EEAS spokesperson said crews were called at 10:50 GMT to Hawthorn Drive, following reports of an injury.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, the patient died at the scene," the spokesperson said.

Norfolk Police said the man's next-of-kin had been informed of his death.
In a letter sent to residents who have already moved into the Furlong Heath housing estate, Tilia Homes said: "There is no ongoing risk to neighbouring residents and appropriate safety measures remain in place."
It added anyone with specific concerns should contact its customer services department.
