Boy, 14, pleads guilty to knife incident at school
BBCA 14-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to charges related to an incident involving a knife at a St Helier school.
The States of Jersey Police said the boy had been arrested on 9 February after being restrained by members of staff at Haute Vallée School, and was charged at 00:25 on 11 February.
The teenager, who cannot be named due to his age, pleaded guilty to one count of grave and criminal assault and one count of possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared before Jersey's Youth Court and has been remanded in custody. A directions hearing will take place on 17 February.
