Three schools in Worcestershire have been temporarily closed due to a "burst water main", according to the county council.

Aston Fields Middle School, Finstall First School and Rigby Hall School, all in Bromsgrove, were closed on Friday morning.

A spokesperson for Severn Trent said the issue had also affected customers in the DY9 area of the town.

They said residents in this postcode were "experiencing no supply, poor pressure or discoloured water".

The spokesperson added: "Please be assured our teams are investigating the cause.

"We are very sorry for any inconvenience and will provide further updates once we have more information."
