Three arrested on murder suspicion after stabbing

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 20s was stabbed.

He was found seriously injured in an alleyway by The Wheatsheaf pub, on Kingston Road, Ewell, Surrey, at about 15.30 GMT on Tuesday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts from paramedics, the public and police to save him.

A 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and a 20-year-old man are in custody.

Surrey Police said the dead man's injuries were consistent with stabbing.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported.

Police are appealing for information.
