Road closures planned as part of £87m scheme
East Riding of Yorkshire CouncilThe next phase of closures has been announced as part of a major roads project in East Yorkshire.
The Jock's Lodge improvement scheme near Beverley aims to improve traffic flow.
Work began in January last year and is due to be finished late next year.
The project is expected to cost £86.9m.
On Thursday, the Jock's Lodge junction on the A164 and the slipways on the A1079 will be closed, said East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Motorists will be redirected to the newly built section of the A164 between Bentley and the Lincoln Way roundabout on Minster Way, Beverley.
The A164 between the Morrisons roundabout and Bentley will be closed except to local traffic.
The changes come two weeks after new sections of the A164 were opened – the northbound road between Dunflat Road and Coppleflat Lane and the stretch between Skidby roundabout and Dunflat Road.
