Six men have been sentenced for their part in a drive-by shooting which injured a young woman.

West Midlands Police said shots were fired towards a property on Priory Road in Dudley just after 12:15 BST on 3 July 2025.

A woman in her 20s was struck by a bullet that went through the front door of the property. She was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.

Police previously described the attack - from a stolen car - as planned, and said the woman was struck in the pelvis. In relation, three of the six men were each jailed for attempted murder and a firearms offence, with the prison terms for Kile Straker, Ethan Colbourne and Kieron Atkins ranging between 26 and 30 years.

CCTV inquiries revealed that the car, an Audi, was stolen from an address in Wednesbury in the early hours of the previous day, before being driven to Priory Road. The Audi was driven past the address three times before five shots were discharged.

Three men - Stephen Simms, Kye Everitt, and Iranveer Gill - were arrested as part of an investigation into the theft of the car.

On 14 July, the force arrested Straker and Colbourne after firearms officers stopped a vehicle in Oldbury.

Atkins was arrested in West Bromwich a few days later.
