Part of the M54 has been closed eastbound between Shropshire and Wolverhampton after a car left the road.

The motorway has been closed from junction 3 in Albrighton to junction 2 in Wolverhampton.

The closure is expected to last for several hours, according to National Highways, while crash investigation work takes place.

There is a diversion in place using solid square symbols, which takes drivers via the A41, A5 and A449.
