Wolverhampton Pride will be held at a new location this year, with costs for tickets frozen at last year's price.

Returning to the city on Saturday 6 June, the event will be held at West Park from 14:00 until 20:00 BST.

City of Wolverhampton Council said the location change was due to development work being carried out in Market Square.

Councillor Chris Burden said the new location "means we can continue to deliver Pride with everything it's become known for: A stage with top entertainment, food and drink, a fun fair, community stalls and children's entertainment".

The event, which used to be held at Market Square, previously took a four-year hiatus until it returned in 2023.

City of Wolverhampton Council have partnered with Enjoy Wolverhampton BID, X2Y LGBT Youth, Wolverhampton LGBT+, Wolverhampton Homes, The Grand Theatre, Jaivant Patel Company and Arena Theatre to deliver the event.

A spokesperson for the council said: "Wolverhampton Pride is open for everyone to come together to celebrate, learn about and support LGBTQ+ inclusion in the city of Wolverhampton.

"The fundamental ethos of Wolverhampton Pride is the city working together to deliver a truly inclusive and accessible celebration of the LGBT+ community."

Thousands come together to celebrate pride in the city every year, with the last event hosting celebrated drag act QUEENZ.

Ticket prices are frozen at 2025's rate, with adult tickets priced at £10 and concessions and child tickets available for £2.50.
