A man has been found dead at a country park in Warwickshire.

Paramedics were called to Ryton Pools Country Park, near Ryton-on-Dunsmore, on Monday at 06:40 GMT.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

Warwickshire Police cordoned off the site while investigations were carried out, and the force confirmed there was no wider risk to the public.
