Machete-wielding robbers raid London Rolex shop
GooglePolice are hunting armed robbers who smashed their way into a Rolex shop in central London and stole a number of high-value watches.
Six suspects wearing motorcycle helmets threatened staff and members of the public with weapons including machetes at the Bucherer boutique in Knightsbridge on Tuesday morning.
The group left the stolen motorcycle they used to ram into the building inside the shop before riding off on four mopeds parked outside. No one was injured, the Metropolitan Police said.
The force's Police's Flying Squad said it was working "at pace" to trace the suspects and appealed for witnesses to the raid. No arrests have been made.
Officers were called to the shop shortly before 11:00 GMT as the raid was in progress, the force said.
Det Ch Insp Scott Mather, from the Flying Squad, said: "This robbery was carried out in a busy part of London, and we understand the alarm it has caused. Our officers are working to identify and arrest those responsible.
"Officers were on scene within minutes and investigators are working at pace to piece together the offenders' movements.
"We are determined to find those involved and bring them to justice as swiftly as possible."
