An asylum seeker has been cleared of raping a woman in a city centre.

Mubarak Ibrehim, 25, was accused of carrying out the attack behind Portsmouth Crown Court - where his trial was held - while filming it on his phone.

However, he told the jury that his alleged victim had led him to the building's vehicle entry bay and they proceeded to have consensual sex.

Ibrehim, from Darfur in Sudan and who is currently living in the Southsea area of Portsmouth, was found not guilty of rape and voyeurism.
