Person seriously injured in bike crash

A person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a bike crash on a major road, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the A30 at Fivelanes, Launceston, at 14:20 GMT.

Police said the A30 westbound was closed, but has since reopened.

The force thanked motorists for their patience while emergency services responded to the crash. No further details have been issued by police.
