BBCMotorists are being warned of long delays after a crash involving a gas tanker.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crash, involving a car and a lorry that was carrying liquid petroleum gas, happened on the A4 in Newbury between Gravel Hill and Milkhouse Road.
Two people were placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service, and the car was made safe, the fire service said.
It urged motorists to avoid the area as a cordon had been put in place while the lorry was recovered and "gas monitoring" was carried out.
