A Medieval Christmas market is returning to Lincoln.

The event will take place from 4 to 7 December at St Mary le Wigford Church in the city centre and at St Mary's Guildhall, just off High Street.

Organisers said the event would include spiced punch and music, and provide an opportunity to find "quirky" Christmas gifts.

There will also be demonstrations of traditional crafts and a willow weaver, who will make reindeer.

The market opening times are:

  • Thursday 4 December, 12:00 to 21:00 GMT
  • Friday 5 December, 10:00 to 19:30
  • Saturday 6 December, 10:00 to 19:30
  • Sunday 7 December, 10:00 to 16:00

Organisers said the free event would give visitors a chance to look inside two "important, historical buildings that are often overlooked".
