Man due in court accused of damaging Roman wall

A 46-year-old man is due to appear in court accused of damaging a Roman wall in Lincoln.

Jason James is charged with causing criminal damage to the structure at the City Hall car parks on 24 August last year.

The scheduled ancient monument is believed to date back to the year AD85.

James, currently in HMP Lincoln, is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 12 March, Lincolnshire Police said.
