Killed teen inspired those around him, school says
GoFundMeA 15-year-old pupil who was fatally stabbed in a park "exuded a joy and love of life that was impossible to miss", according to his school.
Mark Baines, head teacher at All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham, Surrey, paid tribute to Luis Gabriel Guembes, who was found dead in Guildford on 19 January.
The teenager was "an incredible young man and a much-loved member of the All Hallows family", Baines said.
"He embraced every opportunity and new experience with excitement and energy that inspired those around him."
The head teacher said Guembes was "a caring and loyal friend to so many of our students", who looked out for his younger peers and was "often seeking to comfort others, including adults, when they needed it".
"He had a soft, gentle side and remarkable emotional intelligence," Baines said.

Guembes was a talented footballer and enjoyed martial arts, according to Baines, while he was "on track to achieve his goals and took pride in his learning" at school.
Churt Juniors Football Club has said Guembes was one of their under-16 players and his "shocking loss" had "deeply affected our whole club".
"Luis will be greatly missed by all who knew him," the club said.
GoFundMeBaines said: "Polite, friendly and deeply respected, Luis was loved by his peers and staff alike.
"A beautiful young man, Luis will be greatly missed by all the students and staff at All Hallows Catholic School."
Two boys aged 15 and 16, who cannot be named because of their ages, appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Monday charged with killing and conspiring to rob Guembes and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
