M1 to remain shut for 'some time' after crash

National HighwaysThe M1 in Derbyshire will be closed for "some time" following a crash.
Derbyshire Police said it was made aware of a two-vehicle collision shortly after 07:00 GMT on Sunday, and both sides of the carriageway between junctions 29 and 30 were closed.
A spokesperson for the force said the southbound side had since reopened, but the northbound carriageway would "remain closed for some time".
An air ambulance and National Highways officers also attended the scene.
Drivers have been warned to look for alternative routes.
