Chesterfield defender Tyrone Williams has announced his retirement as a player at the age of 31.
The defender made 87 appearances for the Spireites in more than four years at the club after signing from Solihull Moors, including 22 league games in 2023-24 when they won the National League title.
But he did not play again after a suffering serious injury in a match at Swindon Town in February 2025.
"Thank you to everyone at Chesterfield FC for an incredible chapter, a chapter I'll never forget and memories to last a lifetime," he said, external.
"To the staff, my team-mates past and present, and especially the Spireites – your support on and off the pitch has meant everything."
