A World War One shell found on a building site was safely detonated by bomb disposal experts.
Thames Valley Police said they were called to Charnham Street in Hungerford, Berkshire, on Thursday morning.
Workers were temporarily evacuated from their office after a 40m cordon was put up around the site.
The shell was taken into a field off the B4192 on the outskirts of Hungerford and detonated at about 12:50 GMT.
