Images released after report of knives near school

Police investigating reports of two men with knives chasing another man near a school in Nottingham have released images of two people.

Witnesses told officers from Nottinghamshire Police about the incident near Glade Hill Primary and Nursery School in Bestwood at about 15:00 GMT on 30 January.

A man in his 20s was found unharmed nearby, the force said.

Detectives are looking to trace the two men and speak to any witnesses who have not yet come forward.

Det Insp Lisa Jones said: "We are treating this matter extremely seriously and our investigation is progressing at speed.

"It is vital we trace the two men in these images as we believe they will be able to assist our inquiries.

"We appreciate their faces are partially covered but we are hopeful someone might recognise them from their clothing."
