Motorcyclist dies after lorry crash on A14

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a lorry on the A14.

A red Suzuki motorbike and the trailer of a silver Mercedes lorry parked in a lay-by collided on the westbound carriageway between junction 38 for the A11 and junction 30 for Kentford, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire Police said.

The incident took place at about 18:40 GMT on Wednesday and a 53-year-old man from Wicken, Cambridgeshire, died at the scene.

The lorry driver has been helping the force with its inquiries and officers have appealed for anyone with footage or information to contact them.
