County lines drug dealer jailed
Lincolnshire PoliceA drug dealer, who was part of a county lines gang operating in Lincolnshire, has been jailed for four years and nine months.
Tyreece Moran, 23, of Brooksby Lane, Nottingham, was charged with being involved in the supply of cocaine and heroin in the Grantham area.
He pleaded guilty to the charges when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.
Moran was also ordered to forfeit phones and cash and made the subject of a five-year Serious Crime Prevention Order - a measure aimed at preventing an offender's involvement in further serious crime.
County lines is the term used to describe drug-dealing networks connecting urban and rural areas.
Moran was stopped by police officers in July, and was later identified as being involved in an active drugs line, police said.
Det Con Simon Nash, of Lincolnshire Police, said: "We will not tolerate the exploitation of young people through drug dealing in our county, and we will continue to work hard to ensure that Lincolnshire residents are protected.
"We will remain relentless in our commitment to protect our communities and keep our county safe."
