A popular walking bridge over the River Ness in Inverness is to close for four days to allow essential maintenance to be carried out.

The Ness Islands walking bridge will shut on Monday until Thursday, with the closure in place from 07:30 to 17:00 each day.

Ness Islands will still be accessible, but no access will be given to Bught Road during the closure periods.

Highland Council has apologised for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
