Man dies following assault near city cocktail bar

BBCA man who was assaulted outside a cocktail bar has died prompting a manslaughter investigation.
Joshua Johnson-Hector, 31, was found with a serious head injury in Bristol Street, Birmingham, just after 04:15 GMT on 28 December. He died in hospital the following afternoon.
The assault is believed to have taken place near the Savanna restaurant and cocktail bar, West Midlands Police has said.
Richard Deakin, 37, from Halesowen, West Midlands, has been charged with manslaughter and is due to appear in court on Tuesday. Police have urged anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident to get in touch as inquiries continue.
