Officers have appealed for information after masked thieves targeted a pawnbrokers shop in Derby city centre.

Derbyshire Police said it was called to reports of a robbery at Ramsdens Pawnbrokers in St Peter's Street at about 13:45 BST on Monday.

Video footage showed three people attacking the front window of the outlet before running from the scene.

A cordon was put in place between St Peter's Cross and Lloyds bank, the force said, and anyone with information has been asked to come forward.
