New social housing completed in Easter Ross village
Ewen Weatherspoon PhotographerHighland Council has built 24 new homes for social rent in Evanton in Easter Ross.
The local authority said the project was a "milestone achievement" in efforts to tackle a shortage of affordable homes in the region.
Funded in part by a Scottish government grant, the development is a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
Contractor Compass Construction has now built 1,000 new homes for the council.
Housing and property committee chairwoman Glynis Campbell-Sinclair said: "Highland Council will continue to work collaboratively alongside partners to build a portfolio of housing stock."
"New housing can have a transformational impact for people and place, and I wish all the tenant every happiness in their new homes."
