Colleagues of Alexander Key say he "shaped so many lives"

The partner of Sir Mick Jagger's granddaughter was "a unique man", his colleagues have said after his body was found in the sea.

Alexander Key, 37, from Boscastle, Cornwall, "shaped so many lives", the team from Rocket Store - where he worked as a chef - added.

Key's body was found in the sea at Bude on 31 January after he had been reported missing eight days earlier. His death is not being treated as suspicious by Devon and Cornwall Police.

His colleagues said he had left them with "a remarkable legacy" and he had been "the treasured father to Romy and Ezra and life partner to Assisi".

The team said in a statement: "For all of us that had the privilege of working with him, Alex was far more than a chef.

"He was a unique man who wasn't afraid to take risks and never stopped laughing."

They said Key's mantra had always been simple: "Break even and have fun."

They added some words the chef had shared: "'We should always know that there is something that we are yet to discover within ourselves and the wider reality forged into the universe.

"Please take time for yourself but give time to others."
