Storm sees island's coast battered by waves

The Isle of Man's coastline was hit by waves brought by Storm Bram

Storm Bram has caused disruption across the Isle of Man as the coastline was battered by waves and storm force winds damaged infrastructure.

A rare red weather warning was issued by Ronalsway Met Office, with people urged to avoid coastal areas.

The conditions saw several roads closed for safety reasons around high tide, with other shut due to fallen trees and debris, leading to travel disruption.

The gales saw travel to and from the island hit by gales, with all ferries and several flights cancelled.
