BBCA popular music promoter and record store owner will be remembered in a celebration of his life.
Mike Lloyd, 82, ran Music Mania in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and died in December.
"Mike's love of music shaped not only his own journey but the cultural heartbeat of Stoke-on-Trent for more than 60 years," said Music Mania in a social media post.
"Friends, colleagues, musicians, and all whose lives were touched by Mike Lloyd" have been invited to celebrate his "extraordinary" life at Stoke Minster on 14 January.

"His warmth, humour, tireless energy, and dedication to the arts left a legacy woven into the fabric of the city he proudly called home."
Born in Walsall, Mr Lloyd was awarded an OBE for his services to classical music.
He was also made honorary freeman of Stoke-on-Trent in 2025 for "an exceptional commitment to enriching the cultural and musical landscape" of the city.
