A man convicted of attempted murder following a serious assault in a Lincolnshire seaside resort has been jailed.

Scott Marriott, 31, was charged following an attack on another man at a property on South Road, Chapel St Leonards, in June last year.

He pleaded guilty to the charge at an earlier hearing in November.

Marriott, of Sunningdale Close in the resort, was sentenced to 12 years and 11 months in prison at Lincoln Crown Court on Friday.
