Warning of hour-long delays on M40 after crash

Motorists faced long delays southbound on the M40 in Buckinghamshire after a multi-vehicle crash.

Two of the four lanes of the M40 - between junction 2 for the Beaconsfield Interchange and junction 3 for Loudwater - were closed on the southbound carriageway.

At its peak drivers faced delays of up to 60 minutes and congestion stretching for seven miles in the area.

All lanes have now reopened.
