Bags of rubbish, cardboard, wood and building waste have been found dumped illegally on a country lane in Warwickshire.

An investigation is under way, after North Warwickshire Borough Council's crime officers went to the scene of the fly-tipping site on Fortacre Lane, in Hurley.

The rubbished was believed to have been dumped over the weekend, said the council.

Officers have secured evidence to support their investigation and have made an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
