Two injured after car crashes into a wall near Inverness

Two people were taken to hospital after a car crashed into a wall and a telephone pole near Inverness at the weekend.

The incident happened on the A862 at Inchberry on the Inverness to Inchmore road at 23:35 on Saturday.

The collision involved a grey Ford Fiesta.

Two passengers, a 21-year-old woman and 31-year-old man, were taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

Police said they were keen to trace a red Ford Fiesta seen in the area at the time.

Officers said the occupants of the car may have vital information about the circumstances of the crash.
