Your pictures: Wolf supermoon dazzles winter skies

A glimpse of the Wolf Moon in Kendal

The first full moon of the year lit up the cold winter skies in the north-east of England and Cumbria on 3 January.

Also known as the Wolf Moon, it was the fourth supermoon in a row following October's Harvest Moon, November's Beaver Moon and the Cold Moon in December.
