Motorists have been warned of delays of more than 60 minutes on a major road following an infrastructure defect.

Two out of three lanes have been closed on the A14 westbound between junction 23 for Godmanchester and junction 22 for Brampton in Cambridgeshire, National Highways said.

It added there was about three miles of congestion and the lanes would remain closed overnight.

The organisation advised drivers to allow extra time for the journeys.
