A jailed robber who escaped police custody twice in a week has apparently posted a second drill rap video while on the run.

Daniel Boakye, 21, fled from Lewisham Hospital in south-east London on Sunday 15 February, after being taken there for medical treatment. He has not yet been found.

Five days earlier, he escaped West Middlesex University Hospital but was caught the next day.

Boakye, who uses the drill name dsavv, uploaded a drill rap video last week, seemingly taunting police. Now a second rap video has appeared where he can be seen rapping about fleeing from police.

The lyrics include: "I'm a boss, so I always find my way, I'm that guy, the boss of the UK."

The wanted criminal, whose music video is seemingly recorded while he is sitting in the back of a car and holding an inflated balloon, boasts: "Done it twice now they think I'm insane."

One person has commented on the music video to say: "The lyrics alone you need to be arrested."

Boakye was jailed for six years and five months in 2023 for being part of a robbery gang that held victims at knifepoint to get their phone passcodes in order to steal a total of £115,000 of cryptocurrency, as well as using bank details to pay for taxis and top-up cards.

The Metropolitan Police said they were still actively searching for Boakye, and have appealed for help from the public.

A spokesperson said after he fled Lewisham Hospital, "officers gave chase but could not detain Boayke and he left the area."

They added: "He is described as a black man of a slim build and was last seen wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a dark Nike jacket."

The spokesperson said officers were currently reviewing the incident "to fully understand the events which unfolded" and that the Met's Directorate of Professional Standards had been told.
