Two men charged after football steward injured
TVPTwo men have been charged after a steward was injured following a disturbance at a football match.
Thames Valley Police said there was an altercation following the final whistle of Reading's League One match against Barnsley at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Saturday.
The force said it was reported that a steward was injured.
Two men - from Bournemouth in Dorset and Barnsley in South Yorkshire - were arrested in connection with the disruption and are due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court at the end of February
Reilly Wood, 25, of Knyveton Road, Bournemouth, has been charged with entering a playing area and criminal damage. He is due to appear at court on 24 February.
Brandon Bashforth, 28, of High Street, Grimethorpe, Barnsley, has been charged with entering a playing area, a Section 5 public order offence, and assault by beating. He is due in court on 25 February.
