A 60-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man was shot dead at a house in West Yorkshire.

Connor Batty, 26, from Barnsley, was found dead at the back of the property in Barnsley Road, in Hemsworth, on 11 September.

West Yorkshire Police have previously said he was shot after he and two other men had forced entry into the house.

Adrian Frost, of Barnsley Road, is due to appear before Leeds Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with murder and a number of other offences, including drug and firearms offences.
