Investigation after windows broken in bus crash

Windows were damaged during the incident in St Peter Port

Bus operator Stagecoach said three windows were damaged on one its buses were during an incident.

It happened shortly after 10:00 GMT on Monday in the St Stephen's Hill area of St Peter Port.

There were some passengers on board but no injuries were reported. Passenger Lena Collinson said the bus was redirected because of roadworks.

The company said it is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident as part of an internal investigation.
