Further bus strikes in Cambridge called off
Steve Hubbard/BBCBus strikes that would have seen drivers and engineers in Cambridge walk out again have been cancelled.
Staff at Stagecoach East took industrial action over Christmas and last month in a dispute over pay.
Members of Unite the Union were expected to strike again this month, but the union has confirmed the action has been cancelled.
Darren Roe, managing director of Stagecoach East, said it would return to "offer all the essential services" for its customers.
He added: "I would like to put on record my thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to maintain services during this difficult time."
The strikes began after union members asked for a 9% pay rise to reflect "extremely difficult demands of the job and the rising cost of living".
Stagecoach said it was unable to meet that demand.
The BBC has contacted Unite for further comment.
